With regret, we have been advised, that the JAC Teams carnival scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 13th January 2024, has been cancelled.
The surf conditions have drastically changed overnight due to the 2.5m swell from the low that is coming down the coast. In addition to a very high tide forecast tomorrow we will also lose the beach area.
The safety of our Nippers and Water crew is paramount, so this means it is not safe to continue.
A big thank you to those volunteers that put up their hand to help.
We will be running water training sessions in the creek at 4.30pm today and at 9am tomorrow if you would like to attend.
At this stage, the conditions are expected to improve on Sunday, so our regular Nippers day is still planned to go ahead, with a possible move to the creek if necessary.
